- Lead the development of control systems databases & programs for lower and mid-level systems.
- Execute initial systems point-to-point commissioning activities and troubleshoot local and wide area network issues.
- Utilize computer hardware and software for pre-functional testing of system software code according to the design sequence of operations.
- Participate in and support the final systems functional testing, including standard, 3rd party, LEED, and Title 24 testing as required.
- Knowledgeable in multiple vendor software versions and skilled in working with 3rd party integrations of other vendor products, systems, and protocols.
- Lead field coordination of installing subcontractors and attend project coordination and commissioning meetings as required.
- Lead end user/customer system training on assigned projects and manage the systematic turnover of the project to the Service team.
- Assist Design Engineers with sequence of operations development and coordinate with project staff for accurate recording of project costs.
- Manage field time and budgets for assigned projects and provide leadership for the field team on mid-sized projects.
- Communicate effectively with team members regarding project issues and needs, attend OSHA safety training classes, and practice safe work habits.
- Coach, mentor, and develop junior level Systems Software Engineers.
- Current Technician proficient and knowledgeable in Automated Logic, with a strong emphasis on this skill as the most important requirement.
- Demonstrated experience in database programming, custom graphics development, and BMS installation.
- Extensive computer skills and understanding of network types, with an ability to troubleshoot effectively.
- Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills, with the ability to mentor junior engineers.
- Commitment to safety, with completion of OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 safety training classes preferred.
