The Logistics Team is seeking a Stock Control Coordinator to join their dynamic team.Job Responsibilities:Generating reports and monitoring data related to quality inspections and inventoryInitiate and resolve cycle countsConduct research to resolve inventory quality and damage complaintsCollect and report on quality assurance issues and inspectionsResolve issues related to receiving inventoryInventory variance resolution and researchCreation and updates to purchase orders for inbound inventorySystem maintenanceEffectively communicate on a high professional levelEstablish and maintain good working relationships with customers, co-workers and stakeholdersQualifications/skills required:Ability to efficiently manage multiple tasksIdentify errors and imperfections of samplesKnowledge of quality standards for book industryAbility to work accurately and independentlyExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to learn new methods & systems required to adapt to changes in the work environmentPC Proficiency to include Word, Excel and OutlookKnowledge of SAP and MARCGood overall attendance recordPossess overall comprehension of filing procedures.Accurate, organized and detail oriented with exceptional follow up skillsThe salary range for this position is $40,000-$50,000 per year.All positions are currently eligible for profit award or bonus, subject to company results.Penguin Random House is the leading adult and children’s publishing house in North America, the United Kingdom and many other regions around the world.
