- Prepare, portion, cook, and present a variety of hot and cold food items for lunch services.
- Follow recipes and production guidelines accurately to ensure consistency and quality
- Demonstrate strong knife skills and proficiency in cooking methods, including sautéing
- Provide courteous and professional customer service in a front-facing cafeteria role
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and kitchen equipment
- Monitor food quality, portion sizes, and presentation standards
- Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and hospital dietary guidelines
- Assist in training or guiding junior kitchen staff when needed.
- Previous cooking experience in a healthcare, cafeteria, or high-volume food service environment required.
- Strong knife handling, cooking, and sautéing skills
- Ability to follow standardized recipes and production schedules
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent. Required
- 2+ years of Cook-Senior experience
- Food Handler Certification
- 8 hour shifts.
- Must be flexible.
- $19.24/hr + benefits
