Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating CNC machines, ensuring precision and quality in the production of parts and components. This role requires a strong understanding of machining processes, programming, and the ability to work with various materials. The CNC Machinist will play a crucial role in maintaining production efficiency and meeting quality standards.DutiesOperate CNC machines, including setting up and adjusting machine parameters for optimal performance.
Program CNC machines using Mazatrol or similar software to produce high-quality parts.
Perform Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM) and Plastics Injection Molding as required.
Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers to ensure accuracy of machined parts.
Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to tooling or machine operation.
Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols.
Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and improve efficiency.
Bilingual a plus.
QualificationsProven experience in machining, with a strong understanding of CNC operations.
Familiarity with programming CNC machines, particularly using Mazatrol software.
Experience with Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM) and Plastics Injection Molding is a plus.
Proficient in using precision measuring instruments including calipers and micrometers.
Basic math skills for calculations related to machining processes.
Ability to operate forklifts safely is an advantage.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
