- Supervise manufacturing, inspections, logistics and maintenance in a regulated facility
- Uphold Hawkins’ standards of excellence through a continuous commitment of providing quality products and services to internal and external customers
- Train, support, and supervise direct reports
- Manages budget, inventory levels and variable expenses
- Serve as Incident Commander
- Comply with all applicable Federal, State, and Corporate environmental, safety and health regulations
- Apply all product quality and safety standards, report any product safety incidents
- Perform other miscellaneous related duties, as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a manufacturing or technical field required
- Minimum of 2 years in a production or supply chain (planning, purchasing, materials management, etc.) role required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel and Outlook required.
- Demonstrated experience in problem solving, project management and communication
- Minimum of 6 months of previous MRP or ERP experience preferred; prior JD Edwards experience strongly preferred.
- Ability to work weekends and be on-call
- Valid Driver’s License in good standing
- CDL or ability to obtain one is preferred.
- Must be able to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, climbing, bending, pushing, reaching and pulling
- Ability to climb and/or work at heights while using stairs and ladders
- Ability to safety operate an industrial forklift when required
- Ability to wear PPE and equipment such as safety shoes, face shields, safety glasses, safety goggles, hearing protection, gloves and hard hat, chemical suit and/or hair/beard net when required
- Ability to work in hot, cold, dusty, and wet environmental working conditions
- Willing to work around chemicals and industrial machinery
