  • Supervise manufacturing, inspections, logistics and maintenance in a regulated facility
  • Uphold Hawkins’ standards of excellence through a continuous commitment of providing quality products and services to internal and external customers
  • Train, support, and supervise direct reports
  • Manages budget, inventory levels and variable expenses
  • Serve as Incident Commander
  • Comply with all applicable Federal, State, and Corporate environmental, safety and health regulations
  • Apply all product quality and safety standards, report any product safety incidents
  • Perform other miscellaneous related duties, as needed.
ABOUT YOU
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a manufacturing or technical field required
  • Minimum of 2 years in a production or supply chain (planning, purchasing, materials management, etc.) role required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel and Outlook required.
  • Demonstrated experience in problem solving, project management and communication
  • Minimum of 6 months of previous MRP or ERP experience preferred; prior JD Edwards experience strongly preferred.
  • Ability to work weekends and be on-call
  • Valid Driver’s License in good standing
  • CDL or ability to obtain one is preferred.
Physical requirements:
  • Must be able to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, climbing, bending, pushing, reaching and pulling
  • Ability to climb and/or work at heights while using stairs and ladders
  • Ability to safety operate an industrial forklift when required
  • Ability to wear PPE and equipment such as safety shoes, face shields, safety glasses, safety goggles, hearing protection, gloves and hard hat, chemical suit and/or hair/beard net when required
  • Ability to work in hot, cold, dusty, and wet environmental working conditions
  • Willing to work around chemicals and industrial machinery
