
Associate Patient Care Coordinator

- Review each patient’s chart prior to appointment and ensure consents and insurance verification is complete
- Support providers with patient check in and check out; obtain registration forms, collect and upload insurance cards and identification, verify completion of consents and confirm insurance eligibility
- Assist with onboarding new patients, help patient’s access patient portal, prepare and confirm completion of paperwork, ensure consents and insurance verification are complete
- Process payments or co-pays, deductibles, co-insurance, self-pay, and missed appointment fees
- Assist in update and/or scheduling of existing patients, including assisting with internal referrals initiated by the provider
- Answer phone calls and return voicemails; record all requests in the EHR system for Provider follow-up
- Inventory, submit order requests, and restock supplies
- Monitor clinician/admin/OBC inbox and respond accordingly and take necessary steps
- Ensure all locations are welcoming and adhere to brand guidelines
- Secure patient information and maintain patient confidentiality

- High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
- 1+ years of experience in a mental health or medical office setting
- 1+ years of experience with electronic health records
- Bachelor's Degree
- Experience with insurance verification
- Ability to interpret a variety of data and instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
- Written and verbal communication skills to explain sensitive information clearly and professionally to diverse audiences, including non-medical staff
- Ability to work independently, as well as be part of the team, including accomplishing multiple tasks in an environment with interruptions
