Shift: Monday - Friday, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm (must be flexible to customer needs and length of the job)
Compensation: $35 - $45 /hr (DOE)

Job Type: Full TimeHVAC Service Technician Position Summary:As an HVAC Service Technician at Specialty Heating & Cooling, you will play a critical role in ensuring the comfort and safety of our residential and light commercial clients. You will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of HVAC systems, including gas furnaces, heat pumps, and air conditioning units. Your expertise will help educate customers on proactive repairs and system upgrades, enhancing their HVAC systems' efficiency and longevity.In this hands-on role, you will conduct routine inspections, perform emergency repairs, and utilize advanced technology for record-keeping and communication. You will also have the opportunity to mentor less experienced team members, fostering a collaborative and knowledgeable work environment. - Minimum 8–10+ years in HVAC service, with at least 2–3 years in a lead or senior technician role.
- Strong proficiency in residential systems and light commercial. Any factory training, specializations, or manufacturer-specific expertise (especially Carrier) would help someone stand out.
- Experience training or mentoring junior techs with mandatory experience running jobs independently.
- Confident communicator with homeowners, strong documentation habits, and a polished, professional demeanor.
- Valid driver’s license and mandatory EPA Certification (NATE certification preferred).
- Proficient in using power and hand tools safely and effectively.
- Ability to lift 100 lbs or more and work in various weather conditions.
- Strong time management skills and ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication skills and a commitment to professionalism and customer service.
