
IT Software Infrastructure Manager I

- Be responsible for developing the automation of our applications, systems, and processes
- Manage a team of System Administrators, Network Engineers, Cyber Security, Software Engineers and DevOps Engineers to support Agile Software Development
- Design automation implementation strategy for manual software and IT processes for both unclassified and classified development environments
- Automate infrastructure utilizing the Atlassian tool suite and other Northrop Grumman recommended tools such as Docker, Jenkins, Ansible, and many more
- Automate backup and restoration processes and test the recovery of those backups on a regular basis
- Build pipeline configurations to orchestrate provisioning and deployment of both large- and small-scale systems
- Enable software developers to write unit tests and integration tests for code validation
- Enable the software developers to identify software defects in their existing code base and constantly improve the code quality
- Automate monitoring tools to monitor system health and reliability to support high uptime requirements
- Automate disaster recovery plans to support the applications
- Scale infrastructure to meet rapidly increasing demand
- Develop and improve operational practices and procedures
- Actively support product development teams and other stakeholders to maintain business continuity and maintain customer satisfaction
- Bachelor of Science degree in technical discipline and 5+ years' experience with System Administration, Cyber Security or Network Engineering OR Master of Science degree in a technical discipline and 3+ years of experience with System Administration, Cyber Security or Network Engineering; an additional ten (10) years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Experience with Windows, Linux and Storage
- Experience with Agile DevOps methodology & automation tools (Docker, Jenkins, Ansible, etc.)
- Must have experience leading a team and projects
- Must have US Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret Clearance/SCI
- Master's degree in a relevant technical or management specialty
- Experience leading, developing, and managing a direct staff of employees
- Experience in supporting or leading System Admins., Network Engineers and/or Software Developers with hands-on experience a plus
- Program Management Experience
- Experience in driving organizational change
- DevOps Experience
- Agile, SAFe Experience
- Active TS/SCI security clearance
