
Assistant Project Manager - Commercial Ground Up

- Oversee full project life-cycle from preconstruction through closeout
- Manage budgets, review estimates, and ensure project profitability
- Ensure contract compliance and risk mitigation across all phases
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, and subcontractors
- Provide clear, timely reporting and project documentation
- Collaborate with Superintendents to keep projects on or ahead of schedule
- Assist in supervision the project team in line with company standards
- Coordinate logistics, procurement, schedules, and change orders
- Maintain accurate records including submittals, RFIs, and as-builts
- Help drive projects to meet or exceed established deadlines and quality expectations
- Experienced: Brings 3+ years of proven success in managing commercial construction projects, ideally in sectors like multi-family, retail, or healthcare.
- A Strong Leader: Capable of motivating teams, managing subcontractors, and maintaining a professional, solutions-oriented work environment.
- Detail-Oriented & Organized: Skilled at juggling budgets, schedules, submittals, change orders, procurement, and closeout tasks without missing a beat.
- A Great Communicator: Confident in leading meetings, coordinating with clients and stakeholders, and delivering clear, timely updates.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficient with Microsoft Office and construction management software, with a strong ability to learn and implement new systems.
