
Corporate Counsel, Enterprise Contracts (Remote)

- Review commercial arrangements and customer-facing materials for compliance with company policies, laws, and regulations, including data privacy.
- Advise and partner with business teams on commercial matters as they arise in assigned business units, working closely with external counsel when necessary.
- Collaborate with business units to identify and mitigate legal risks associated with day-to-day operations.
- Regularly review and update contract library with templates and provisions and contribute to the ongoing development of the Legal Department “playbook” for contract negotiations.
- Participate in cross-functional teams and projects to provide legal insights and support.
- Collaborate with, and assist, members of the Legal team and other internal stakeholders on a broad range of topics and projects.
- Advise internal stakeholders on contract interpretation, terms, negotiating positions, and risk management.
- 5+ years of experience in a law firm or in-house legal position.
- Strong background in commercial law, contract law, and healthcare regulations with healthcare, life science, medical device, or similar industry experience preferred.
- The ability to analyze complex legal issues, identify potential solutions, and provide practical guidance to the business.
- Transactional background with a demonstrated ability to draft and review commercial agreements, including complex arrangements, quickly and efficiently with little or no supervision.
- Strong business sense coupled with the ability to evaluate risk, consider business and practical considerations, and provide clear pragmatic legal advice.
- Experience in data privacy regulations including HIPAA.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, and resourceful self-starter with excellent problem-solving capabilities, judgment, communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
- High levels of initiative, confidence and ability to appropriately influence others.
- Understanding and adherence to legal ethics and ability to maintain confidentiality.
