Setup and operate computer programmable/controlled brake press machines.
Must be able to plan and layout bending sequence, referring to drawings, blueprints, or specifications.
Bend a variety of products or assemblies of small, light to average weight following standard procedures.
Request assistance on large or heavy sheet metal blanks.
Setup up various types of metal in performing operations in forming.
All parts must be bent to close tolerances.
Requires aligning, fitting, and adjusting parts to meet operating requirements of unit.
Troubleshoot and rework pieces that fail tests.
Assist Engineering personnel in the modification, parts substitution, and repair.
May perform minor maintenance procedures.
Coordinates orders on carts by ship date.Required Qualifications:
High school or equivalent (Required)
