Genesis10 is currently seeking an Application Programmer with our client in the financial industry located in Pennington, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract position.Responsibilities:
  • Build various web applications for serving end users
  • Involved in day-to-day development of code, peer code reviews, migration to higher lanes, maintenances, and issue resolution
  • Configuration of operating system level and application related environment files
  • Application development using .Net , Angular as front end technologies
  • Contribute independently as a developer and lead/direct the team members as and when required
  • Quickly understand and learn other technology stacks in the framework like Alteryx and Tableau
  • Proactively work on request/issues reported by Application team members and complete them within defined SLAs
  • Be able to discuss and define the application architecture
  • Co-ordinate with external teams for integrations as required
  • Work on various vaulting methods, understand security policies
  • Performance tuning of application
  • Create detailed process and technical documentation.
  • Co-ordination with support partners/Vendors to resolve issues
  • Assist and resolve production issues as part of support
  • Guide team members on resolving the issues
  • Create best practices, platform usage standards and guidelines
Requirements:
  • Able to resolve issues independently
  • .NET Core, Angular, SQL Server, Oracle
  • JavaScript GUI frameworks (e.g. REACT), Python, MuleSoft, Cognos, SSIS, SSRS, Shell scripting
