
Punching Cell Operator (weekend shift)

- Set up, change tooling as required per shop drawings, program, operate and maintain Punch Machines
- Understand/interpret detailed blueprints (shop drawings) to perform a variety of machining operations
- Check dimensions on finished parts using a variety of precision measuring instruments
- Perform Quality Control using standard tools
- Operate sit down forklift
- Notifies supervisor of product discrepancies or equipment malfunctions.
- Adheres to established company policies and procedures paying special attention to safety regulations.
- Wears personal protective equipment in accordance with training guidelines.
- Perform all other work-related duties as assigned
- High school diploma or GED is required
- Previous manufacturing experience required.
- Sheet metal experience is preferred
- Must be able to read tape measure and shop prints

- Physical Dexterity (requires the ability to lifting, pulling, pushing, reaching, crouching, kneeling, stooping, etc.)
- Ability to stand and/or walk for 10 hours

- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds individually and up to 75 pounds with assistance
- Prior forklift and sheet metal knowledge preferred
