- Develop, define, and document the security architecture and strategy for client engagements
- Coordinate with other leaders in the cybersecurity organization to conduct security risk assessments and threat modeling, and provide recommendations and mitigation strategies
- Design and implement security solutions using various technologies and tools, such as cloud, network, endpoint, identity and access management, encryption, etc.
- Review and validate the security architecture and configuration of existing systems and applications
- Collaborate with stakeholders and teams across the organization to ensure alignment and integration of security requirements and solutions
- Research and evaluate emerging security trends and technologies, and provide recommendations and guidance for adoption
- Lead and mentor junior architects and engineers, and foster a culture of teamwork leading to excellence in security outcomes for our clients
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience
- At least 15 years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 5 years of experience in security architecture
- Strong knowledge and experience in various security domains, such as cloud, network, endpoint, identity and access management, encryption, etc.
- Proficient in security frameworks and standards, such as NIST, ISO, CIS, etc.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex security concepts and solutions to technical and non-technical audiences
- Strong leadership and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and across different levels of the organization
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, SABSA, TOGAF, etc. are preferred
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to effectively plan, organize, and execute cybersecurity projects, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
- Leadership and team management abilities, with the capacity to lead and motivate a team of cybersecurity professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex cybersecurity concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders, building strong relationships and gaining trust.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills, with the ability to identify and address cybersecurity risks and vulnerabilities and develop effective strategies and solutions.
- Client-focused mindset, able to understand client needs, provide expert guidance, and deliver high-quality cybersecurity services that align with their business objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Proactive approach to staying updated on emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in cybersecurity, with a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
- This position's estimated annual pay range is $210,000 - $300,000, including a base salary and bonus. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual.
