Job Description:A well-established real estate and title company is seeking an Escrow Assistant to support escrow officers in processing real estate transactions. This role involves handling administrative tasks, preparing documents, and assisting with closings to ensure smooth and efficient escrow operations.Responsibilities:Assist escrow officers in processing residential resale, refinance, and builder escrow transactions.Prepare escrow documents, including contracts, amendments, and closing statements.Coordinate with buyers, sellers, lenders, and real estate agents to gather required information.Process escrow funds, deposits, and disbursements under supervision.Review and verify documents for accuracy and compliance with regulations.Maintain organized records and update files throughout the closing process.Respond to inquiries and provide customer service to all parties involved.Perform general administrative duties to support the escrow team.Qualifications:Required:High school diploma or equivalent.One to three years of experience in escrow, title, or real estate transactions.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and escrow-related software.Preferred:Experience working in a title company or escrow office.Knowledge of real estate terminology and escrow procedures.Notary certification (or willingness to obtain).
