
Principal Specialist Demand Planner (Hybrid)

- Generate 5 year forecast in collaboration with Business Development, customer service and vehicle production schedule
- Collaborate in demand review meetings with BD, Ops and finance
- Review and make adjustments to forecast and inventory targets based on changes in demand and market trends
- Prepare, report and communicate forecast and inventory measurements to management (forecast accuracy, inventory plan vs target, OTD, and sales forecast)
- Continuously improve forecasting techniques, method and approach
- Conduct forecasting analysis and ensure that the forecasting methods and being followed
- Assemble and analyze all data pertinent to creating the sales forecast (historical sales, market trends, seasonality, promotions and inventory levels)
- Establish and utilize best statistical models and tools in creating forecasts and inventory targets
- Typically requires a University Degree and minimum of 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum of 3 years of experience
- Prior experience in Demand Planning and Forecasting
- Experience with Excel including Pivot tables and VLookUp
- Experience Data Synthesis
- Travel as business needs dictate- 10% a year
- SAP experience
- Demonstrated leadership in Demand Planning and Forecasting by effectively coordinating cross-functional efforts and driving alignment across all areas
- Skilled in synthesizing and analyzing complex data sets to draw meaningful insights and support high-impact decision-making
