Pay Range: $18.00 – $20.00 starting pay per hour (depending on experience)We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused to join our team. This role is key to supporting our customers, processing orders efficiently, and working closely with internal teams to ensure excellent in-person service and on-time delivery.This is a hybrid position that offers plenty of time behind the desk, as well as time on the floor assisting customers in person. Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and in-person at the counter
  • Process sales orders from quote to invoice with accuracy and efficiency
  • Provide product information, pricing, and delivery details to customers
  • Recommend additional products and solutions based on customer needs
  • Coordinate with outside sales, purchasing, and warehouse teams to ensure timely service
  • Manage customer returns and vendor returns professionally
  • Monitor open orders and follow up to ensure promised delivery dates are met
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for all transactions
  • Communicate clearly and respectfully with customers and coworkers
  • Take initiative to assist where needed, including working occasional overtime
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
  • 1–3+ years of experience in inside sales or customer service preferred
  • Strong communication skills—verbal and written
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Experience with Industrial ERP software is a plus
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of pricing, vendors, and product sourcing is helpful
  • A professional, team-oriented attitude
