- The Sr. Technology Project Manager (TPM) facilitates project management discipline to enable teams in the successful completion of technology and product related projects and work efforts -- encouraging and enabling individuals to identify themselves as a team and motivating the team to keep projects moving steadily toward successful completion
- Supporting the Employee Experience solution line, specifically the product roadmap delivery.
- Managing a $3-4M budget for product development in the upcoming year.
- Coordinating up to four development teams; current model strains beyond two teams, so a stronger project management layer is needed.
- Provide structure and oversight around:
- Resourcing
- Estimating
- Scheduling
- Issue/risk management
- Accountability
- Identify cross-team dependencies and proactively ask the right questions to surface risks or roadblocks.
- Support budget tracking and forecasting, including tying features to estimates and actuals for better financial visibility.
- The Sr. TPM ensures that the project/product team, sponsor, internal and external stakeholders are all continually communicating and collaborating regarding project/work goals, timeline, expectations, protocols, risks, constraints and assumptions.
- Large-scale software/system implementation
- Experience with i terative delivery (not "big bang " launches)
- Should not be a rigid Agile purist. A hybrid project management style is essential:
- Experience with both structured project planning and Agile practices
- Must tailor their approach based on what the project/team needs
- Strong problem-solver: Can identify when teams are struggling and take initiative to remove barriers.
- Able to motivate and support teams while ensuring delivery stays on track.
- Skilled at building and managing project plans across multiple workstreams.
- Comfortable in a less-structured environment (not a heavily regulated organization).
- Must be proactive, adaptable, and able to work without a rigid playbook.
