- Coordinating and providing support for research collaborators - 30%
- Working with subcontractors to organize stakeholder engagement sessions - 25%
- Manage project administrative tasks including preparing forms, reporting, timelines, and budgets - 30%
- Analytical, content or program development opportunities will be determined based on the experience and expertise of the selected candidate - 15%
- Knowledge of and ability to use basic office support technology systems such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Excellent English oral and written communication skills, including a sound foundation in English grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
- Ability to plan and coordinate work activities in a proactive and organized manner.
- Ability to apply independent judgment, discretion and initiative to address problems and develop practical and creative solutions.
- Ability to display flexibility in handling multiple work priorities and frequent interruptions.

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in an office or administrative environment.
- Bachelor’s and/or Master’s Degree.
- One year of project management experience
- Excellent organization skills and attention to detail.
- Experience working with California Tribal communities or in environmental justice or related fields/areas
- A background check (including a criminal records check) and/or Livescan (fingerprint) must be completed satisfactorily before any candidate can be offered a position with SDSU Research Foundation.
- Candidate must reside in California or live in a commutable distance from SDSU at time of hire.
