Responsibilities:Job Summary:The Cardiovascular Radiology Technologist is responsible for performing diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular imaging procedures under the direction of a physician. This includes assisting in cardiac catheterizations, angioplasties, stent placements, and other vascular procedures. The technologist ensures high-quality imaging while maintaining patient safety and comfort throughout the procedures.Essential Duties:Prepare and position patients for cardiovascular imaging procedures.Operate fluoroscopic and digital imaging equipment during diagnostic and interventional procedures.Assist physicians with catheterization and interventional cardiovascular procedures. * Ensure compliance with safety standards and radiation protection protocols.
  • Prepare sterile fields and maintain aseptic technique.
Perform equipment quality control and notify supervisors of maintenance needs.Educate and support patients and families before, during, and after procedures.Qualifications:Education and Experience:
  • Two (2)-years of current Radiology Technologist and hands-on scrub including interventional experience.
  • Completion of approved JRCERT Radiologic Technologist Program
Licensure:
  • Current Radiology License CRT
  • Current Arizona State License (MRTBE)
  • Current American Heart Association ACLS (preferred) and BLS certifications
