Ensures efficiency and productivity levels by training and motivating shipping and receiving department employees in order to meet customer requirements.Responsibilities:
Supervises day-to-day operations of the shipping and receiving department to include counting, weighing and identifying items going in and out of the facility.
Informs Manufacturing Manager of any problems with materials or equipment to be shipped or have been received.
Administers training programs to ensure materials and equipment are shipped and received properly.
Partners and collaborates with Customer Service Representatives and other teams in the manufacturing process to ensure client products are properly packaged and shipped expeditiously.
Promotes safe working conditions through housekeeping and ensures proper safety practices are followed.
Plans, assigns and reviews work of staff to ensure that group objectives are met. Hires, trains, develops and manages staff to meet group objectives.
Troubleshoots processes when necessary. Works with team members to resolve, and request other resources as necessary
Tracks and controls department expenditures and labor costs to ensure compliance with plant and department budgets. Provides reporting and analysis to management.
Performs other duties and participates in special projects as assigned.

Associate's degree in business preferred
Prior leadership experience desired
Knowledge of inventory systems, warehouse management, postal regulations or traffic laws is a plus
Additional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.The national pay range for this role is $63,300 to $97,400 annually. The pay range may be slightly lower or higher based on the geographic location of the hired employee. The actual pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to: education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift and location. In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include participation in a bonus, commission or incentive program.
