Dental Hygienist

One-year contract with up to six (6) one-year renewals.
Estimated 28 hours per week, 3.5 days per week (Monday–Friday) during daytime clinic hours, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.Responsibilities:Perform cleanings using hand and mechanized instruments, removing all traces of calculus, deposits, accretions, and stains from teeth.Conduct instrumental examinations and chart conditions of teeth and surrounding tissues, noting carious lesions, periodontal pockets, and other abnormalities.Perform patient screenings using X-ray technology.Administer prescribed medicaments to the gingival and apply desensitizing agents.Instruct patients on preventative oral hygiene and oral physical therapy, including brushing, flossing, and toothbrush care.Maintain accurate patient records in a computer database, documenting dental history, conditions, and services rendered.Clean, sharpen, and sterilize instruments.Requirements:Must be certified to practice dental hygiene by the Arkansas State Board of Dental Examiners.Minimum of two (2) years of experience providing comprehensive dental hygiene services.Experience working with patients with physical and mental conditions.Benefits:PTOVacation payBonus payHealth insurance401kWhy Join Us:
