Talascend is currently seeking a Director Of Learning Management System Implementation for a contract opportunity with our client in Charlotte, North Carolina.OverviewThis role will be instrumental in consolidating our existing LMS and Learning Experience Platform (LXP) into a unified system that supports the evolving learning and development needs of the organization.Responsibilities
  • Lead the end-to-end implementation of the Oracle HCM learning system.
  • Develop and execute a strategic roadmap that aligns with organizational learning goals.
  • Serve as a thought leader in digital learning transformation and system integration.
  • Oversee project timelines, deliverables, and resource allocation to ensure on-time and on-budget execution.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to manage system integration and data migration.
  • Establish and maintain documentation standards for all learning content and system processes.
  • Partner with business units to identify and transition relevant learning assets.
  • Engage with HR, IT, and business leaders to ensure the system meets enterprise-wide learning needs.
  • Provide leadership through influence, guiding cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Communicate progress, challenges, and milestones effectively to executive leadership.
Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Education, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Masters preferred).
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in Learning and Development, with a strong background in LMS implementation.
Requirements
  • Proven experience managing large-scale system implementations, preferably with Oracle HCM or similar platforms.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and change management capabilities.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to solve complex problems and drive strategic outcomes.
