- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
- Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials as required.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or irregularities encountered during patrols.
- Collaborate with local authorities and Allied Universal management as necessary during emergency situations or incidents.
- Remain alert and attentive while on duty, adapting to changing environments and conditions at the location.
- Availability across various days and shifts
- Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
- A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
- Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available
- At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
- A valid driver's license is required for driving positions and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
