Our engaged team leads with integrity, and unites with purpose, driving toward innovation and continuous improvement every day.POSITION DESCRIPTION: Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Mechanical Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing and installing mechanical and automated production equipment in support of the facility’s manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will exercise their strong technical and mechanical aptitude, along with their problem-solving skills to ensure that production machines are reliable, efficient and compliant with safety and quality standards. The Mechanical Maintenance Technician will collaborate with Production, Engineering and Automation teams to minimize downtime, increase equipment availability and support continuous improvement initiatives, while always operating with a safety-first mindset. **This position will work in our Loveland, OH location**RESPONSBILITIES:
  • Perform corrective, preventive and predictive maintenance on mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and automated systems, and troubleshoot equipment failures, and necessary repairs to minimize downtime
  • Install, align and commission new machines according to specifications, while also supporting Engineering with any necessary modifications to ensure safety
  • Fabricate or modify parts as required, and diagnose and repair pumps, conveyors, motors, gear systems and precision mechanical assemblies using machining, welding or precision tools
  • Record maintenance activities and detailed equipment histories
  • Ensure machine guarding, emergency stops and protective systems are operational and participate in safety audits, risk assessments and corrective actions
  • Support various ad hoc facility’s maintenance as needed
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • 1+ years hands-on maintenance experience in a manufacturing or automated production facility
  • Skilled in the use of precision tools, welding, fabrication and alignment methods
  • Strong working knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, mechanical drawings and schematics
  • Ability to work on-call assignments as production needs require
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and climb up/down a ladder
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Technical degree, trade school or apprenticeship in Mechanical Maintenance, Industrial Technology or Mechatronics
  • Familiarity with robotics, PLC-driven machinery and advanced automation
