This position is hybrid and has work from home flexibility.Position Summary:The Financial Analyst prepares ad hoc reports for analyzing financial information and assists with developing, automating, and implementing financial models, reports, budgets and forecasts.Essential Functions:1. Assists in preparation of monthly financial reports and graphs for firm management.2. Works with SQL to query, merge and analyze large sets of data.3. Analyzes and understands business requirements and create reports to support needs.4. Utilizes PowerBI, Tableau, and other business intelligence software to build interactive dashboards and reports.5. Functions as an important resource for practice group leaders, department heads and senior staff regarding their reporting needs6. Performs detailed analysis on PowerBI reports to determine areas for improvement.7. Leads the development of reports using SQL, Excel, PowerBI and other analytical tools8. Processes, cleans, and validates data for predictive analysis and data modeling.9. Collaborates with multiple departments across the firm to analyze and automate business needs.10. Identifies and assesses the current performance and historical trends across all practice groups and departments.Confidentiality:Due to the nature of your employment, various documents and information, which are of confidential nature, will come into your possession.   • Bachelor's degree in computer science, business intelligence, Finance or Business Administration
  • 3-5 years of data analysis or accounting experience
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL queries
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerBI
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills
  • Experience in financial analysis, modeling, and preparing financial statements preferred
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and perform under tight deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent customer service attitude
