With approximately $3 billion in sales and 4,000 employees worldwide, we have a material presence in more than 20 countries.Position SummaryJM Huber is seeking an Automated Packaging Operator at Active Minerals International, a Kaolin Clay production facility in Aiken SC.Automated Packaging Operator: This position will be responsible for operating the Automatic Bagger in a safe and efficient manner.Huber offers an excellent total compensation package which includes:

Entry Rate: $20.032nd Shift: 2pm - 10pm M-F, weekends as requiredPrincipal Duties & Responsibilities
  • Operate and run the automatic bagger machine, make adjustments if necessary.
  • Perform the safe and efficient operation of equipment.
  • Identify, troubleshoot and repair problems.
  • Perform minor maintenance to equipment.
  • Complete all paperwork relating to maintenance, downtime, and orders in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Maintain proper bag weights, feed and change bags.
  • Conduct pre-shift inspection and preventative maintenance of equipment.
  • Maintain clean work area.
  • Adhere to all QMS procedures and documentation as applicable to position and department, and as required by ISO.
Specialized/Technical Knowledge or Required Skills
  • High School graduate or GED.
  • Effective communication, both written and verbal.
  • Strong moral and ethical standards.
  • Must be able to work individually and in a team atmosphere.
  • Must be able to operate forklift.
  • General working knowledge of MSHA Safety requirements
Physical RequirementsWork is performed in a production environment. Position requires lifting, pulling, pushing and carrying up to 55 lbs. on a regular basis. Able to sit, stand, walk, bend, stoop and climb up to 70 feet. Able to operate hand and foot controls simultaneously.
