All employees may also make pre-tax or post-tax (Roth) contributions to our retirement plan – must be 18 years of age to participate.Please Note: This position will work cleaning in our North Campus at 6850 Federal Blvd, Denver, CO 80221JOB SUMMARY:The Janitor, Facilities will perform specific assigned janitorial duties at our numerous retail stores while working to ensure Goodwill standards are met or exceeded.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Sweep and mop floors.
  • Clean buildings by emptying trash, sweeping, and cleaning surfaces.
  • Clean and disinfect.
  • Vacuuming/Steam-clean carpets.
  • Use cleaning solutions to remove stains and clean surfaces.
  • Mix various cleaning agents.
  • Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees.
  • Dust furniture and scrub surfaces clean.
  • Apply wax to coat floors and buff.
  • Apply sealant to floors.
  • Clean and service restrooms with mops and disinfectants.
  • May move heavy items such as furniture.
  • Identify and report possible repairs.
  • Shovel snow from sidewalks and sprinkle salt on surface.
  • Spray insecticides and fumigants to prevent insect and rodent infestation.
  • Monitor building security and safety by performing such tasks as locking doors after operating hours.
  • Help provide a safe working environment for you, customers, and fellow employees.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • A High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Experience:
  • One (1) year custodial experience is required.
