- Leads day-to-day Master Data Group operation.
- Acts as the primary Master Data contact to provide coordination and expert consulting to all internal stakeholders.
- Ensures all safety processes and requirements are followed and creates a safe workplace.
- Ensures all quality and compliance processes and policies are followed.
- Provides training, job assignments, scheduling, and supervision for Master Data Group staff.
- Maintains current SOPs and procedures for Master Data Group functions, duties, and responsibilities.
- Directs and performs all Master Data duties:
- EMS – create material masters and master recipes (including BOM and PI sheet) and related activities supporting prototype (EMS) operations
- GMP – create material masters and master recipes (including BOM and PI sheet) and facilitate technology transfer process for all new GMP opportunity related activities
- Change Request/Site Maintenance/Obsolescence – GMP and Global Sites (LSM/Tokyo)
- Directs and performs other Master Data Group tasks:
- Special Projects – provide support for core data needs in ERP System or any relevant task as assigned by supervision
- Data Migration – assist in activities for importing legacy data from Jeeves ERP system to SAP based on Commercial needs
- Other Business needs – Create material masters for FISI-PA and Rebus business functions
- Consultation – provide moderate guidance to stakeholders in other departments
- Manage processes traversing several enterprise applications (ERP, CRM, MC, etc.) requiring significant judgement in complicated, branching processes.
- Ensures maintenance of team-shared log sheets to record output for Master Data activities.
- Creates, maintains, and assesses departmental KPI including data output, workload analysis, and any reportable data trend that tie to business requirements.
- Participate in management meetings and provide data driven input to process improvement ideas and work status update to relevant work or projects.
- Participates in process improvement and system projects based on company priorities.
- Other tasks and projects as assigned by the line manager.
- Bachelor Degree in area of Business, Data Analytics, Information Technology or related field required.
- Master Degree preferred.
- 6+ years in a Master Data Analyst or closely related job function in master data analyst process, where data analysis was demonstrated.
- 6+ years of experience using ERP, CRM, and Document Control software (SAP, SalesForce, MasterControl preferred).
- 3+ years people leadership experience.
- 3+ years Master Data Process design, implementation, and testing.
- High attention to detail.
- Knowledge of enterprise database software and process design and development required.
- Knowledge of Medical Device and Pharmaceutical industry practices.
- Prefer knowledge of GMPs, USP, and ISO 9001/EN13485.
- Excellent command in use of computers and technology.
- Good time management skills.
- Knowledge of culture media formulation, aseptic dispensing, and clean room practices a plus.
- Mathematical skills including conversion between units of measure.
- Excellent Business Productivity software skills including Excel.
- Good communication skills for working with a variety of stakeholders in other business functions. ·
- Ability to adapt to work independently and within a team effectively.
- Ability to speak and read English. Good oral and written communication skills.
- For California, the base salary range for this position is $103,093 - $134,204 annually. Compensation for the successful candidate will depend on various factors (e.g., qualifications, education, prior experience, location, etc.).
