Once a part of Kenrick-Glennon Seminary's campus, the Cardinal Rigali Center in Shrewsbury, MO is today the headquarters and curia (governing body) for the Archdiocese of St. Louis.Job SummaryWe are looking for an energetic and faith-filled individual to join our learning consultant team at Ste Genevieve du Bois for grades 3-8. You will work in collaboration with our primary learning consultant to provide interventions and support for our students with individualized service plans. You will be responsible for providing support and strategies to students, teachers, and parents in facilitating academic growth, as well as providing support for NWEA Map Growth Assessments. You will work alongside the faculty and administration to meet the diverse needs of our students through individual and small group work. The ideal candidate would be a certified teacher with Reading Specialist or Special Education certification and/or experience.Job Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized plans tailored to student needs.
  • Provide differentiated instruction and accommodations
  • Utilize research-based strategies to support students with learning disabilities, emotional challenges, and developmental delays.
  • Foster a supportive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes academic achievement and spiritual growth.
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and parents to ensure students receive appropriate support.
  • Assess student progress through formal and informal evaluations and adjust instruction accordingly.
  • Participate in professional development, school meetings, and faith-based activities.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or a related field.
  • Valid state teaching certification in Special Education.
  • Experience working with students with disabilities, preferably in a Catholic or faith-based setting.
  • Strong understanding of IEP development, differentiated instruction, and behavioral interventions.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Practicing Catholic in good standing with the Church preferred
