Core Receiving & Inspector - Genie Reconditioning

- Receive incoming Genie core machines, components, and material from carriers and customer returns
- Verify inbound shipments against packing slips, purchase orders, and receiving documentation
- Perform initial inspections of core units and components to assess condition and completeness
- Use internal systems (PICK, spreadsheets, printed forms, Outlook) to document and communicate receiving information
- Work closely with Purchasing to resolve discrepancies, such as incorrect part numbers, missing POs, early shipments, or quantity variances
- Generate and initiate return paperwork (RMA) for rejected or incorrect shipments
- Safely unload and move material using forklifts and other warehouse equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of all receiving transactions and assist with inventory updates and adjustments
- Stage received cores and components for evaluation, teardown, or routing to production areas (e.g., Wash, Blast, Mechanical)
- Assist with burden material receiving and documentation
- Conduct cycle counts and participates in annual inventory audits to ensure data accuracy
- Support clean, organized, and safe work environments throughout the warehouse.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Warehouse Supervisor
- Prior experience in warehouse receiving or inspection, preferably in a manufacturing or reconditioning environment
- Familiarity with Genie aerial lift components and terminology is a plus
- Experience operating forklifts and other warehouse material handling equipment.
- Comfortable using tools and performing hands-on visual inspections
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to operate forklifts or material handling equipment preferred
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to support light repair and assembly tasks when required
- Ensure all QMS (Quality Management System) guidelines and regulations are followed
- All employees are required to follow and promote all company and regulatory safety and environmental standards and exhibit safe work practices at all times
- Use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment): Safety Toe Shoes, Safety Glasses, etc. required at all times in warehouse environment
- Follow established departmental policies, procedures, objectives, and continuous quality improvement objectives
- Actively participate in and support the principles of Open-Book Management
- Possess a positive attitude and promote a positive work environment
