Position Summary:The Vice President of Construction is responsible for leading and overseeing all aspects of new restaurant construction, remodels, and capital projects for a rapidly growing QSR franchise system. This role ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with brand standards. The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in restaurant or retail construction management, strong leadership skills, and the ability to scale processes across multiple markets.Key Responsibilities:Develop and execute a scalable construction strategy to support aggressive unit growth across new and existing marketsOversee site development, permitting, bidding, budgeting, and construction executionManage internal construction teams, general contractors, architects, engineers, and other third-party vendorsImplement and enforce brand standards and design guidelines across all new builds and remodelsCollaborate cross-functionally with Real Estate, Operations, Finance, and Franchise Development to align construction with company goalsLead the construction budget process and cost-control strategies to ensure efficient capital deploymentIdentify and mitigate construction risks and delays proactivelyEstablish KPIs and reporting dashboards to monitor project performance and timelinesDrive a culture of safety, quality, and accountability across all job sitesQualifications:10+ years of progressive experience in construction management, preferably in QSR, franchise, or multi-unit retail environmentsProven track record of delivering multi-site projects on time and on budgetDeep understanding of construction permitting, zoning, and regulatory requirements in multiple statesStrong leadership and vendor management skillsAbility to travel frequently to job sites across the countryBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferredPowered by JazzHR
