Work Setting: HybridPosition DescriptionDTSI is seeking a Security Control Assessor Representative (SCAR) for the USAFA's Risk Management Framework (RMF).The SCAR will work independently of and outside of the management of the ISSO and ISSM. The SCAR will be responsible for assessing security controls on behalf of the USAFA defined Security Controls Assessor (SCA), in accordance with the SAP. The SCAR will develop the SAP and validate assessment results provided by the ISSOs or other security personnel. Additionally, the SCAR will review the information system's Security Assessment Package and document their findings in a SAR along with the organization/information system risk assessment. Moreover, SCAR responsibilities will include, but is not limited to, its role definition defined within DoDI 8500.01(Cyber Security), 8510.01 (Risk Management Framework for Air Force Information Technology), and AFI 17-101 (Risk Management Framework for Air Force Information Technology).Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of related experience
- An active certification per DoD 8140 of one of the following: CISM, CISSO, CPTE, CySA+, FITSP-A, GCSA, CISA, CISSP, CISSP-ISSEP, GSLC, GSNA
- T3 Background Investigation
- Bachelor of Science Degree in one of the focused fields: Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science
