A Non Profit organization is seeking an Administrative Assistant to provide temporary coverage during a maternity leave period. The Administrative Assistant will play a crucial role in maintaining efficient office operations and supporting various administrative tasks within the organization.Administrative Support:
  • Provide general administrative support such as answering phones, responding to emails, and managing correspondence.
  • Maintain and update filing systems, databases, and contact lists.
  • Assist in scheduling appointments, meetings, and events, and coordinate logistics as needed.
  • Prepare documents, reports, and presentations with accuracy and attention to detail.
Communication and Coordination:
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for internal and external inquiries, ensuring timely and professional responses.
  • Collaborate with staff members to facilitate communication and coordinate activities.
  • Assist in drafting communications, newsletters, and other materials for distribution
Financial and Membership Support:
  • Assist in processing donations, membership dues, and other financial transactions.
  • Maintain records of financial transactions and ensure accuracy in accounting procedures.
  • Support membership-related activities, including processing applications and renewals.
Event and Program Support:
  • Assist in organizing and coordinating events, workshops, and programs.
  • Help with logistical arrangements, including venue booking, catering, and materials preparation.
  • Provide on-site support during events as needed.

  • Previous experience in administrative support roles preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other relevant software.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Bachelors degree required.
