- Provide strategic leadership for the Zoneline Microenterprise product portfolio (PTAC, Vertical, Built-In, Through-the-Wall ACs, and Accessories). Develop long-term multi-generation product roadmaps and advanced development strategies.
- Partner with Marketing, Sales, Brand, and Consumer Insights teams to build differentiated brand positioning and channel strategies.
- Collaborate with the Zoneline Technology team to scope, resource, and secure funding for new product development programs. Provide guidance and leadership for active NPI initiatives.
- Partner with Sales and Marketing teams to drive commercial execution and maximize market performance of Zoneline products.
- Work closely with the Selmer plant team on Factory Master Plan development—ensuring alignment with NPI initiatives, optimized integration, and secured funding strategies.
- Collaborate with Sourcing to establish sourcing strategies and risk management/mitigation plans for components and sourced products, addressing both day-to-day operations and NPIs.
- Develop and lead a comprehensive investment strategy for the Zoneline Microenterprise. Present recommendations and secure funding through the annual Growth Playbook, SII, and Operating Plan processes.
- Partner with Quality, Technology, Sourcing, and Selmer plant teams to drive cost-out initiatives and quality improvements, ensuring both customer satisfaction and strong financial results. Establish processes to address dealer, installer, and consumer installation challenges unique to Zoneline products, and incorporate insights into future product roadmaps.
- Partner with Design to plan for regulatory and agency compliance, identify innovation opportunities with Advanced Development, and execute targeted “run-the-plant” projects in collaboration with the Platform team.
- Chair the cross-functional Zoneline Selmer Product Council, ensuring alignment with Hoshin objectives and balance between functional and end-to-end business goals.
- Oversee inventory management commitments by actively participating in weekly Production, Scheduling, and Inventory (PSI) meetings. Collaborate with Selmer plant, Marketing, and Sales to optimize LOW/OT clearance actions and maintain target inventory levels.
- Own and manage the relationship with the Parts team, ensuring customer satisfaction and achieving required financial outcomes.

- Operational Planning: Formulates short to mid-term operational plans and strategies (1–2 years), effectively translating strategic goals into actionable plans that drive operational excellence across NPIs, factory performance, and inventory management.
- Complex Problem Solving: Proficiently works through difficult and often complex problems, leveraging expertise and strategic insight to balance quality, cost, supply chain, and customer expectations in a dynamic operating environment.
- Influential Leadership: Influences business decisions made by functional leadership, as well as others outside the function, regarding policies, practices, and procedures, demonstrating persuasive communication skills and the ability to secure alignment at senior levels.
- Execution Management: Possesses practical knowledge in leading and managing the execution of processes, projects, and tactics within a function, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of results through disciplined NPI commercialization and continuous improvement.
- Product & Application Knowledge: Applies understanding of current product portfolio and uses it to support decisions and customer needs.
- NPI Process Knowledge: Knowledge of the New Product Introduction (NPI) process used to support successful launches.
- BA/BS degree from an accredited university or college; advanced degree preferred
- Minimum 10 years of Product Management, Manufacturing, and/or Technology experience
- MBA preferred.
- Six Sigma and/or Lean certification.
- Experience in the HVAC industry.
- Experience in cross-functional leadership experience (particularly in commercial roles), in Appliances or a technical AC products business, or working with GE Appliances’ products
- Working conditions are typical for an office environment.
- Expected to call into 2-3 monthly nighttime calls with Asia (depending on active NPI programs)
- 20% ongoing travel; Occasional conferencing and/or external training attendance may be required at times.
