Overview:This position will involve accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit, collection, general ledger, and financial analysis functions. This position will also work on various financial and accounting projects. This position requires a high level of accuracy and exceptional communication skills. Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accounts receivable for National Accounts and Snap-on Business Solutions Kenosha in LN (enterprise resource planning system)
  • Apply cash receipts to customer accounts
  • Issue statements to customers
  • Research and resolve unallocated funds and aged credit balances
  • Accept customer payments by credit card where required
  • Pay and offset inter-company charges through the Snap-on Netting process
  • Produce queries from LN for financial analysis
  • Code invoices for accounts payable and ensure proper authorization and receipt
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of an Associate’s Degree in Accounting or Finance; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • High level of accuracy
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
  • Ability to interact with internal and external customers professionally
  • Characteristics of integrity, commitment, judgment, and a positive attitude
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong working knowledge of accounting principles
