  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, standards and strategic plans.
  • Plan and manage financial operations including budget development, expense and revenue analysis, evaluation of research services and development activities.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal/external sources including other departments, research institutions, regulatory agencies, sponsors, funding sources and the scientific/research community.
  • Ensure that activities comply with federal, state, local and internal regulations/standards.
RequirementsLicensure / Certification / Registration:
  • Preferred Credential(s):
  • Registered Nurse.
  • Certification specializing in Research Professional.
  • Research Professional.
Education:
  • BSN and PhD in Nursing required.
Work Experience:
  • 5 years of experience required.
  • 10 years of experience preferred.
  • 2 years of leadership or management experience required.
  • 5 years of leadership or management experience preferred.
Additional Preferences
  • Background of leadership in healthcare, research publications, and grant submissions/extramural funding HIGHLY desired.
  • BSN and PhD in Nursing required
