
Business Development Manager

- Research prospects and current customers to help pursue leads for new customers and prospects
- Maintain relationships with established customers as directed by the Sales Management team
- Prepare and present sales presentations that effectively demonstrate the value proposition of MGS
- Work closely with the Sales Management team and participate in sales meetings
- Work closely with Estimating to review estimates; send estimates to customers
- Work with technical staff and other internal colleagues to meet customer needs at the plant level
- Work with marketing staff to handle customer RFI and survey forms
- Use Concur software to track and record expenses
- Use CRM software to track and record activity on customer accounts
- Flexibility to work at events or conferences to promote MGS and our values to new customers
- Keeping up with the latest industry developments including market positioning of competitors
- Any other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's Degree from a four-year college or university is preferred
- 3-5 years of entry level sales, marketing or related field.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Experience developing and maintaining strong relationships with customers and colleagues and everyone you work with.
- Proficiency in Excel, Microsoft Word, and PowerPoint
- Ability to travel, both domestically and internationally, will be required for customer visits, entertainment, and industry events (up to 25%).
