Job Description:Relocation Incentive Available!We have an exciting Outpatient Registered Nurse opportunity at University Hospital Simon Cancer Center that supports our Women's Hematology/Oncology Clinic. This is a full-time, day shift position.This is a fast-paced and challenging environment that allows nurses the opportunity to truly get to know their patients and be involved in their continuum of care.   • Requires an Associates of Nursing (ASN); Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
  • Requires current state of Indiana license as Registered Nurse.
  • Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.
  • Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
  • Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
  • Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
  • Two years' experience in an ambulatory setting preferred.
  • Knowledge of procedures for performing the functions appropriate to the specific clinical area and familiarity with designated pieces of equipment and supplies.
  • Requires ability to coordinate many functions for a group of patients in an effective and timely manner.
  • Requires awareness and understanding of legal implications of patient care activities and performance as a Registered Nurse.
