Job Description:Relocation Incentive Available!We have an exciting Outpatient Registered Nurse opportunity at University Hospital Simon Cancer Center that supports our Women's Hematology/Oncology Clinic. This is a full-time, day shift position.This is a fast-paced and challenging environment that allows nurses the opportunity to truly get to know their patients and be involved in their continuum of care. Requires an Associates of Nursing (ASN); Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
Requires current state of Indiana license as Registered Nurse.
Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.
Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
Two years' experience in an ambulatory setting preferred.
Knowledge of procedures for performing the functions appropriate to the specific clinical area and familiarity with designated pieces of equipment and supplies.
Requires ability to coordinate many functions for a group of patients in an effective and timely manner.
Requires awareness and understanding of legal implications of patient care activities and performance as a Registered Nurse.
