Job Description:*LOCATION: BRIDGEPORT, CT ONLY*We are looking for a Per Diem Housekeeper for our Retirement community located in Bridgeport Connecticut.JOB SPECIFICWork with the Housekeeping Director to complete move-in cleans and to help in the refurbishment of individual apartments. ? Maintain all equipment and supplies in proper condition. ? Perform day-to-day housekeeping functions as assigned. ? Perform specific tasks in accordance with daily work assignments. ? Clean/polish furnishings, fixtures, ledges, etc., in resident rooms, recreational areas, etc., as instructed. ? Clean, wash, sanitize and/or polish bathroom fixtures. Ensure that watermarks are removed from fixtures. ? Clean mirrors in resident rooms, recreational areas, bathrooms, and entrance/exit ways. ? Clean floors, to include vacuuming, deodorizing, and disinfecting. ? Remove dirt, dust, grease, film, etc., from surfaces using proper cleaning/disinfecting solutions. ? Discard waste/trash into proper containers and reline trash receptacle with plastic liner. ? Clean vacant rooms as assigned. ? Maintain the appearance of housekeeping areas; perform regular inspections of resident apartments for sanitation, order, and safety. ? Discard infectious wastes into appropriate containers. ? Utilize safe practices when performing all tasks. ? Notify the Housekeeping Director of any problems in resident apartments. ?
