- Knowledge and ability to effectively utilize project portfolio management tools and Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Project) normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor’s Degree in CIS/CS, Healthcare Informatics, or Health Information Management preferred; or equivalent education and experience.
- Three to five years’ relevant project management experience preferred.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred.
- Knowledge of best practices for project management and familiarity with related technologies.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and sensitivity to organizational politics.
- Must have the ability to communicate technical information in an easy-to-understand way.
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or government regulations.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations and respond to questions from managers, customers, and other employees of the organization.
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret charts and graphs.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
