
Research and Partnerships Analyst (SY25-26)

- Work with the Director of Organizational Insight and External Research Manager within the Office of Data and Accountability to coordinate research activities across the district.
- Fulfill data requests from internal and external members from the BPS community by extracting data from internal databases.
- Collaborate with analysts in ODA to develop common queries and code to increase efficiencies when filling data requests, especially for long-standing research requests.
- Provide assistance to external researchers and internal district research sponsors regarding data needs, non-disclosure agreements, and the applications process.
- Manage data access processes including Non-Disclosure Agreements, Data Privacy Agreements, and Confidentiality Agreements.
- Manage systems to receive, track, review, and respond to data requests from school partners
- Extract data from multiple data information systems and provide aggregate or individual-level student data to partners
- Communicate guidelines for data collection/sharing and manage active non-disclosure agreements
- Collaborate with school-community partner organizations to share data for the purposes of monitoring, evaluating and measuring program equity and impact.
- Work with Internal Evaluation manager as well as internal stakeholders and school-community partners to ensure the most appropriate and rigorous methods are used to address questions of program quality
- Maintain relationships with school-community partners’ data and evaluation personnel
- Work with school-community partners to collect data and produce partner impact and equity reports.
- Perform other duties in the Office of Data and Accountability as needed.
- Current authorization to work in the United States - Candidates must have such authorization by their first day of employment
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Minimum of 3 years of data analysis experience, preferably in K–12 education.
- Strong analytic and data systems management skills, as well as extremely strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency and/or expertise with statistical analysis software and programming languages such as STATA, R, SPSS, SQL, etc.
- Enthusiasm for working on technical projects with diverse team to completion.
- Excellent time management skills, experience balancing competing priorities, and prioritizing resources.

- The ability to explain complex analytical concepts to lay persons in clear and concise easy to understand terms.

- Master’s Degree
- Experience collaborating across departmental lines
