- Provide exceptional service to KCC customers and dealers in a fast-paced, omnichannel call center environment.
- Demonstrate a high degree of professionalism and respect to promote a positive brand image and customer loyalty.
- Receive and make outbound calls to resolve customer issues and perform early-stage collections for both consumer and commercial accounts.
- Establish relationships and communicate effectively with internal teams including Loan Administration, Titles, Loss Mitigation, KTAC and the Loan Origination Center.
- Strive to continuously improve while achieving individual and departmental objectives.
- Contribute to a culture that is passionate about providing an exceptional customer experience.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required; some college preferred.
- A positive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow.
- 1+ years of customer service or collections experience; automated dialer experience is preferred.
- Interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with customers, dealers, peers and management.
- Strong customer service and active listening skills to uncover stated and unstated needs.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to type 40+ words per minute.
- Basic knowledge of collection technique and Fair Debt Collection Practices Act procedures is preferred.
- Must be able to complete daily tasks within the allotted time.
- Must be able to prioritize tasks with minimal supervision.
- Maintain professional decorum with difficult customers.
