The Business System Analyst for Maximo will assist in analyzing business processes for the Operational and Maintenance department and optimizing those associated with asset management and maintenance activities. The responsibilities include working with multiple Operational and Maintenance departments to help develop new business processes, explore the needs of stakeholders, provide input from the business's perspective on projects led by the IT system analyst, assist in the implementation of new enhancements to the Maximo system, and using Maximo system tools such as Escalations, Actions, Workflow Designer, Security Groups, etc. to perform daily job tasks. This role will collaborate with other analysts across the company to help ensure that the systems continue to work seamlessly with one another.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSEducation: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems/Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.Experience: Zero to three (3) years of experience using programming skills preferably with an electric utility or power systems environment.Specialized Skills (e.g., computer, software): Excellent presentation, communication, organization, planning, and interpersonal skills needed to successfully work with a large array of peers to accomplish tasks. The applicant must be able to analyze complex problems and derive solutions that fit the needs of the business.
