- Participating in preclinical animal studies and human clinical surgeries at Neuralink
- Ensuring the surgical team follows strict aseptic techniques and guidelines, as needed
- Anticipating the needs of the team members with respect to the requirements of a particular surgical procedure by reviewing surgery protocol preop and utilizing basic Operating Room role functionality
- Overseeing, enforcing, and implementing safety procedures and protocol required in an OR environment
- Collecting and compiling relevant surgical data for engineering and preclinical analytical review
- Collaborating with surgeons and hospital staff supporting case coverage for clinical trials
- Maintaining surgical equipment, instruments, and supplies
- Completing end-of-day procedures, including restocking Operating Room as needed, cleaning instruments, and picking case carts
- Providing feedback to design engineers at design-review level to ensure end-user feedback is captured
- Bachelor's of Science in Nursing
- 5 years of experience as a Registered Nurse
- 3 years of experience working in an operating room
- Neurosurgery experience
- Ability to travel to/from work in multiple states and internationally
- Willingness to work in environments where potential exposure to animal/human bodily fluids, including blood, may occur
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in Google Docs, Google Drive, and Gmail
