The Project Accountant will play a key role in supporting the financial operations and managing budgets for various projects within the construction industry. This role will also be involved in the corporate accounting for the organization including payroll, journal entries and reconciliations.
  • Manage project budgets, ensuring costs are tracked and aligned with financial goals.
  • Prepare accurate financial reports and forecasts to support project planning and decision-making.
  • Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes specific to project activities.
  • Collaborate with project managers to review and analyze financial performance.
  • Ensure compliance with all accounting standards and company policies.
  • Maintain accurate records of project contracts, invoices, and financial transactions.
  • Provide financial insights to optimize project profitability and efficiency.
  • Support audits by preparing documentation and responding to inquiries as needed.
