- Actively contribute to the development of Launch and Brand strategies through the Launch Readiness and Brand Planning processes
- Participate on cross-functional teams and participate in development of strategic brand plans.
- Effectively communicate results of analytic and market research workstreams to influence action
- Partner with the Marketing Analytics & Business Insights team to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing strategies and then formulating recommendations for optimization
- Support the management of the Ocular Surface Disease marketing budget while identifying efficiencies/synergies where possible to maximize resources.
- Develop effective working relationships with salesforce, brand teams and executive leadership. Stay abreast of industry trends in Ocular Surface Disease, Anterior Segment and Eyecare.
- Conduct routine field travel with the sales force to better understand market drivers and dynamics
- Creation of marketing materials and navigating them through the internal review/approval process
- Manage external third- party vendors and meet all related internal procurement and compliance requirements
- Maintain a deep understanding of competitors, product ranges and promotional activities
- Lead the tactical design and implementation of Marketing initiatives to include:
- Innovative tactics for the U.S. market
- Multi-channel opportunities to strengthen campaigns
- Resources for Physicians and Patients
- Materials for conferences
- Sales training pieces and initiatives
- Internal campaigns and meetings
- Ad boards and market research
- Bachelors degree in related field, MBA preferred
- 5+ years of specialty sales/marketing experience required
- Previous sales/marketing experience with strong performance record
- Experience in product launches
- Experience in the strategic brand planning process
- Comprehensive Knowledge of the health care and pharmaceutical industry
- Strong understanding of Commercial Insurance and Medicare Part D
