- The Educational Interpreter will provide interpretive services for students with hearing and/or communication disabilities.
- The Educational Interpreter will promote the inclusion of students with disabilities into regular classrooms and school activities.
- The Educational Interpreter will actively involve parents and colleagues as partners in learning.
- Valid State of Ohio Interpreter for the Hearing Impaired Licensed Exact English (SEE).
- Strong voicing skills including fluency in reception and expression.
- Skilled in the use of alternative forms of communication.
- Demonstrates a commitment to the Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf Professional Code of Ethics.
- Satisfactory results of fingerprinting and criminal records check (Provided for free by MCESC).
