
HR Generalist

- Serve as a trusted HR point of contact for employees, addressing inquiries related to policies, procedures, benefits, and general employment matters.
- Partner closely with the HR Manager to support employee relations, policy administration, compensation, compliance, and other core HR functions.
- Act as an expert resource for interpreting HR policies, employment law, and compliance practices within the business unit.
- Collaborate with regional HR teams to ensure alignment and consistency in the application of company policies and practices.
- Support full-cycle recruitment and staffing efforts within the business unit, contributing to talent acquisition strategies and onboarding.
- Manage and process new hire documentation, benefits enrollment, and onboarding tasks to ensure a seamless experience for new employees.
- Maintain accurate HR records and generate regular reports related to headcount, turnover, paid time off (PTO), and other workforce metrics.
- Assist in the rollout of compensation and benefit initiatives and support related training and communication efforts.
- Partner with leadership and HR management to resolve employee concerns and foster a positive, productive work environment.
- Lead or support special projects and other HR initiatives as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3-5 years of progressive experience in HR roles with exposure to employee relations, policy interpretation, and generalist responsibilities.
- Strong working knowledge of federal and state labor laws, HR best practices, and HRIS systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel; experience in database and records management.
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills with the ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion.
- Proven ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and build relationships across all levels of an organization.
- HR Certification (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR).
- Experience supporting logistics, supply chain, or warehouse operations environments is a plus.
