Job Title: Junior Project Manager - Miscellaneous Metal FabricatorCompany Overview: Our company is a leading miscellaneous metal fabricator specializing in steel projects, with a strong focus on stair and rail installations. With a commitment to excellence and safety, we have successfully delivered a wide range of projects within the fabrication industry. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Junior Project Manager to join our team.Position Overview: The Junior Project Manager will play a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating various steel projects, with a specific emphasis on stair and rail installations. The ideal candidate will have a background in safety management, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to effectively communicate with General Contractors (GCs) and project stakeholders.Salary: $65000 to $90000 (Depending on Experience)Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of steel projects, with a focus on stairs, rails installations and other metal projects as needed.
  • Collaborate with the project team to ensure timely and efficient completion of tasks.
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols on job sites to ensure a secure working environment.
  • Conduct regular safety meetings and inspections to identify and address potential hazards.
  • Act as a liaison between the company and General Contractors, architects, and other stakeholders.
  • Provide regular project updates and address any concerns or inquiries promptly.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring all milestones and deadlines are met.
  • Coordinate resources, including manpower and materials, to optimize project efficiency.
  • Assist in monitoring project budgets and expenditures, ensuring projects are completed within financial constraints.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in project management, particularly in the construction or metal fabrication industry. 3-5 year minimum.
  • Familiarity with steel projects, with a focus on stair and rail installations, is highly desirable.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and experience implementing safety protocols.
